Translating the Aeneid

So, in Latin these days we are translating the 4th book of the Aeneid, and I'm really enjoying it. Of course not to say that it's easy, but for the first time in 2 years (and 16 credits) Latin is really clicking- like it's hit a spot in my brain and stuck! I expressed these sentiments to a couple classmates and then I felt stupid because I was essentially bragging, and over what? My discontinued stupidity? I wasn't sure that my confidence was correct, but my test score today confirmed it: 91!! Wahoo!

I am so happy. My hard(er) work is paying off.
