Tooth Ache
Dear Friends and Family,
I had no idea that such pain could be felt in one's mouth. I'm not sure if it's an abscessed tooth or just a serious cavity aggravated by the sinus infection I'm still fighting, but either way, ouch! The pain has come and gone for two days now and I really need to figure out a way to work a dentist visit into my schedule. It's interrupting normal activities liking sitting and sleeping. Being without transportation really complicates things, as does daily training in Delaware. Oh, yeah. We go to University of Delaware every day to use their conference center-- there's nothing closer with the capacity for our crowd.
Enough crying. Exciting news. Can I get a drum roll please?! ......
I'm finding out where my first project is! A lot of teams already know tonight, but my team leader will announce it to us tomorrow! I'm so frekkin' excited. The closest feelings I've had to this is something akin to Christmas Eve butterflies and this is even better than that. The joy in asking myself what I will spend the next couple months actually DOING erases all crabbiness I feel toward days spent in an auditorium.
Other exciting news includes my ability to snag wireless from my bedroom if I'm in the very specific position required for use. I'm just a short walk from the comp lab/house but if I lay in my bed just like this, with my knees propped just like this, I can get two low bars of reception. Drop my knees? Lose the connection. Sit up? Lose it. Move to the end of my bed? Gone. Set it on my dresser? Might as well go to sleep!
I had an enjoyable weekend chillin' out, maxin' and relaxin' all cool, you know, shootin' some b-ball outside of the school. Shout out to Fresh Prince if you know what I mean. Anyway, I relaxed a LOT. Slept too much, went to a dance party, hosted a knitting/dance party, and played a few rounds of ping pong. CRAP. The toothache is coming back-- it always gets worse when I recline. I'm going to sleep before it gets too bad and spreads into some locked jaw and ear ache.
Nighty nigh .... OW!
PS. I wish they gave us dental coverage.

Mandy, so good to hear that you are having a good time and doing a great service! You better get that tooth fixed soon!! Ouch! Probably you need some antibiotics, pain meds and a big fat root canal. Not pretty, I know, I've had a few ;)Good luck and take care of yourself. Love ya,
